What type of content can be protected?
Any kind of data: user files on workstations, file servers, databases, virtual machines, applications or cloud data such as data stored on Microsoft 365.
Where are backups stored?
Our service includes all the features of traditional backups plus the ability to store backups offsite in a secure cloud. Clients can therefore store their backups on-site, at a remote site or in a secure cloud in Frankfurt or in Strasbourg.
How secure is the BAAS service?
The BAAS, backup to cloud service is today the most secure solution to protect your data. The encryption of information is done on site and before leaving for the cloud, the data is transmitted through an encrypted channel and stored in a secure data center off site. This way, whatever happens to the primary site, the data will always be available and protected.
What guarantees data confidentiality?
Irreversible encryption before departure to the cloud with the AES256 algorithm with a key specified by the customer. If this key is lost there is none. means of recovering the data.
